Bloom Beginner Postnatal Exercise Program

This program is a gentle reintroduction to movement postnatally and is the perfect way to begin rehabilitating after pregnancy and birth. It is perfect for those in the early postpartum period from 4-6 weeks onwards, those who are symptomatic with prolapse, incontinence, abdominal separation, are experiencing pain, or those who have not exercised for a long time and want to learn how to breathe and use their core effectively before starting at the gym or an exercise class.

The key focus of this class is reengaging with your pelvic floor + core, learning how to breathe effectively through movement and learning how to use your pelvic for + core whilst completing both rehabilitative and functional movements. The class is pelvic floor safe, and suitable for those with prolapse and abdominal separation. All classes are baby friendly.

Prior to participating in this class, it is recommended you have had your 6-week OB/GP/Midwife check-up. Your 1:1 consult will take place prior to the class beginning to obtain a thorough understanding of your pregnancy, birth, current health, and your goals to ensure the program and exercises prescribed are specific to you.

The package includes 6 x 50min classes, a 1:1 initial postnatal assessment, a 30min review appointment, a personalised exercise program for $380. All components are eligible for private health rebates. As we keep this group small, spaces are limited.

What participants have said:

"So grateful I was able to participate in the Postnatal Exercise Program! The initial consult & follow up classes were all very beneficial to my post pregnancy & birth recovery. Naomi was amazing at explaining the exercises and the environment she created took away any anxieties I had about exercising with a baby and my changed body. 100% recommend this program to every Mum as well as any other programs run by Bloom Exercise Physiology!’’
