At Bloom Exercise Physiology, our Clinical Pilates sessions are designed to support women through healing, strengthening, and reconnecting with their bodies. Blending the precision of Pilates with the clinical insight of accredited Exercise Physiologists, our programs offer a safe and supportive path to better movement, posture, and function.
Clinical Pilates is a form of therapeutic exercise that focuses on controlled movement, postural alignment, breath, and stability. At Bloom, it’s not just movement for movement’s sake — it’s purposeful, evidence-based care grounded in women’s health physiology.
Unlike general Pilates classes, our sessions are delivered by qualified Women’s Health Exercise Physiologists who understand how your body functions, and how it heals. Every movement is intentional, progressive, and guided with your long-term wellbeing in mind.
Clinical Pilates is suitable for women at all life stages and fitness levels, especially those navigating:
You do not need prior Pilates experience to begin. Every session is tailored to your current capacity and progresses at a pace that feels safe and sustainable.
Each program begins with a one-on-one assessment, allowing us to fully understand your needs, goals, and movement patterns. From there, we design a Clinical Pilates plan that is both therapeutic and empowering.
Your Program May Include:
We offer both individual sessions and small-group formats, ensuring you receive the personal attention and expert guidance you deserve.
We integrate Pilates-based movement into several of our group offerings, including:
A postnatal-friendly class that blends Pilates with functional core work, posture correction, and gentle strength-building.
Ideal for those recovering from injury, living with chronic pain, or requiring specialised attention for conditions such as pelvic floor dysfunction or osteoporosis.

Taylor K2025-06-17 After experiencing a few miscarriages, I joined Bloom during pregnancy to make sure I was doing exercises that were safe and appropriate for me. Working with Naomi in class gave me so much peace of mind. I learned how to control my breathing, move safely, and prepare my body for labour. My plan was to return to my usual gym routine after giving birth. Unfortunately, I ended up having an emergency cesarean. Because of this, I knew the best way to ease back into exercise was with Bloom again. I did the 6-week postnatal block, and honestly, it was the best thing I could’ve done for myself postpartum. I’ve rebuilt my strength and now feel confident exercising on my own, without the constant fear of ripping my scar open 😂 I’m truly so grateful I found Bloom to support me through both pregnancy and postpartum. It’s been such a valuable investment. Cassie Spowart2025-05-26 I’ve been attending weekly women’s strength classes with Naomi at Bloom and cannot speak highly enough of the experience. After being diagnosed with osteoporosis, It was recommended that I take proactive steps to strengthen my body and protect my bone health. I initially worked with Naomi who tailored an exercise program that I could do at home. These weekly classes challenge me further whilst under Naoimi's guidance. Naomi is incredibly knowledgeable, supportive, and tailors the exercises to suit all levels and abilities. I feel safe and empowered in every session, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in my strength, posture, and overall confidence. The classes are also a great space to connect with other women who are prioritising their health and have a laugh or two. What I appreciate most is how focused Naomi is on proper technique and sustainable progress. It’s not about pushing to extremes; it’s about building strength that lasts. If you’re looking for a professional who understands women’s health and delivers results in a supportive environment, I highly recommend Naomi and her Team at Bloom Exercise Physiology. Lucy Stone2025-02-11 Bloom has been one of the best investments I’ve made during my pregnancy. From an initial assessment with Naomi to joining weekly classes, the information, support and expertise offered by Naomi and Daisy has been fantastic. The five week blocks of exercise classes with Naomi have been really enjoyable, encouraging and satisfying both mentally and physically, with so much information and advice provided each week on everything from core breathing and pelvic floor training to safe movement and strength training during pregnancy. The Mat Pilates classes with Daisy have been challenging, enjoyable and significantly helped with my mobility and flexibility during pregnancy. Would highly recommend anyone currently or planning pregnancy in the Ipswich region make it a priority to book in with Bloom. Robyn Wallen2025-02-01 I’ve been going to Bloom’s Over 50’s Strength classes & I highly recommend them. They are great not only for the benefit of weight based training but also for the mental & social aspects. Naomi really looks after every person individually in a caring & inclusive environment. Susie2025-01-21 Bloom Exercise Physiology is so amazing. I attended the Bloom Beginner Postnatal Exercise and Mum's Strength and Impact classes after having my second child. I wish I had done it after my first as well. If you use movement or exercise to feel good about yourself or to improve your mental health, I would highly recommend these classes. Naomi was amazing at instructing these classes in an inclusive and positive way. JayJay2025-01-01 Your baby doesn’t need another cute outfit, you need to invest in yourself with bloom!! 🌺 Investing in my body and health during my pregnancy AND post partum was one of the best things I did! If you struggle with anxiety and body image like me, Naomi and Daisy are you girls, you will feel safe, respected and never judged. Cannot recommend these gals enough 🫶🏻 Jaz x H Hicks2024-09-27 Naomi has been amazing and supportive throughout my postpartum journey as a total beginner and not feeling confident with exercise. If you are looking through reviews wondering if you should give it a go? Do it. You won’t regret it :) Gemma Richardson2024-07-26 I just recently completed the Bloom Bump to Birth program and I cannot recommend it enough! I started the program at the beginning of my third trimester, and at that point in time I was feeling very overwhelmed with information and how to prepare my body for birth. With the skills and knowledge I learned with Naomi, I am feeling so much more confident, well informed, and feel much more ready within myself for when the little man arrives. I used to be active before becoming pregnant, especially with powerlifting, but throughout my first and second trimester, I was extremely unmotivated and rarely exercised. I was thrilled to find Bloom, and start an exercise program which I have been able to keep doing consistently throughout the third trimester (and its exercise I enjoy too). I also love that your program is uploaded to an app with videos which I have been mixing and matching depending on how my body feels. It was lovely to meet other ladies in the class as well. I'm hoping to squeeze a couple more classes in before birth, and then I will be coming back for postpartum classes when cleared to do so. Thank you so much Naomi!!! Olivia Bird2024-05-03 Incredible. I did the bloom beginner postnatal and such a huge difference from the beginning to now. After having my second c section I was scared to exercise again and now I’m so much stronger and feel so good in myself. 100% recommend to all mummas.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
