Motherhood changes everything, especially your body. At Bloom Exercise Physiology, we offer a series of Mum’s & Bubs 6-Week Programs designed to support your continued recovery and strength-building journey in the months following birth.

Our 4 Group Program Options

Each 6-week program is led by a qualified women’s health exercise physiologist and tailored to meet the evolving needs of postnatal women.

1. Mum’s Strength

A progressive, strength-based program focusing on lifting technique and total-body strength.

  • Incorporates compound exercises like deadlifts, squats, rows, and lunges
  • Functional training that supports common daily “mum movements”
  • Builds strength and confidence in your body’s capability post-birth
2. Mum’s Pilates

A Pilates-inspired class with a blend of postnatal-specific movement and low-impact strength training.

  • Mat-based exercises using body weight, bands, balls, circles, reformer, and light weights
  • Focus on posture, mobility, core engagement, and technique
  • Ideal for mums seeking gentle yet effective full-body conditioning
3. Mum’s Strength and Impact

A dynamic class for those ready to return to higher-level movement or impact training.

  • Mixes strength, core, mobility, and safe impact drills
  • Emphasis on pelvic stability and single-leg strength
  • Ideal for women returning to running, sport, or higher-intensity training
4. Mum’s Pilates Fusion

This class is a fusion of mat Pilates with ballet inspired movements and postnatal specific exercises.

Starting with mat work, through to standing work and exercises using various equipment, this class is fun dance inspired workout that increases your core strength and improves your flexibility and posture.

A background in ballet/dance is not required, everyone can participate

If you are newly postnatal or still experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, prolapse, pain, or unresolved core issues, we recommend starting with a 1:1 Exercise Physiology Assessment or our Beginner Postnatal Program before joining a group class.

Initial Postnatal Assessment Required

All participants must complete an initial consultation or pre-exercise class assessment prior to attending any Mum’s & Bubs group program. This ensures the class is safe and tailored to your current postpartum stage, symptoms, and goals.
